This project is a remodel of an old Florida-style house with cypress siding. The inside was paneled as well and the whole effect of the house was very, very dark. The previous owner collected plants and there were a number of interesting specimens that came with the house. The garage was used as Ms. Harley's painting studio and the upstairs was made into an apartment that could be rented. In remodeling the house, we maintained the authenticity of the materials, careful to place a modern interior into an old-Florida shell.
